The fact that the crooked lawyers got $59 million dollars from the Station Fire law suit, is outrageous. Considering that all of the defendants settled OUT OF COURT . Judge Ronald Lagueux could have reduced this award to a sensible amount like 2 or 3 million dollars and awarded the victims children the remaining 56 million dollars. Instead he chose to side with his fellow lawyers. There is a Special place in Hell for Judges and lawyers who pull stunts like this
And to add insult to injury, the West Warwick taxpayers are now forced to pay the Fire Marshall (who inspected the Station 3 times with his eyes closed)disability checks FOR LIFE
My friend from high school lost his 22
year old son in the Station Fire

The only thing Basketball Jones was ever good at was grabbing media attention for himself. Take away his family name and he's just another third-tier lawyer-turned-politician, favor trading, media whoring, self-aggrandizing, and playing dirty politics for personal gain.
